Bananas are one of the most common types of fruits in the world. They can be eaten as a snack and added to porridge and pancakes. It is rich in potassium, vitamins A, B6, C, E, and K, phosphorus, magnesium, and sodium. It is beneficial for health in general, but on the condition that you do not eat it in excess because it is one of the causes of weight gain. Eating bananas gives an imaginary feeling of fullness, which does not last long and turns into a feeling of hunger that prompts eating more. Food contains small percentages of fats and proteins, compared to a high percentage of carbohydrates.

  Since one medium-sized banana contains 27 grams of carbohydrates, which is a high percentage of sugars, which may cause weight gain if consumed excessively.

- Bananas contain soluble dietary fiber, along with the natural sugar present in them as well. When digested, they affect the functioning of the intestines, causing gas formation and flatulence.

Bananas contain potassium, which is beneficial to the human body and is important for the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system, muscle tissue activity, and maintaining water balance. However, too much of it, as is the case with other substances, negatively affects health, especially for people who suffer from kidney disease. A person can get an "overdose" of potassium if they eat bananas daily in large quantities

According to Consumer Protection Agency experts, a person can eat one medium-sized banana at a time. Those who care about their fitness and weight are advised to eat completely unripe bananas, because they contain a lower percentage of sugar compared to a higher percentage of dietary fiber in the form of indigestible starch and pectin. In general, it is not recommended to eat more than 2-3 bananas a day.
